Best part, everything achieved with just a rice cooker!

That's "instant" Batchelor's Chinese-style rice (although I'm not sure what was so Chinese about it), fried chicken (with a spur-of-the-moment marinade) and some very cacatedly-cut cucumber. Yummy. Best meal I cooked the whole month.

While I'm bragging, I'd like to announce that I got an 82% on my latest essay. Damn good, yo!

Oana's birthday was on the 16th! Me, Saad, Vlad and Elaine got up super-duper early to make a surprise breakfast for her (and yes I ended up zombifying my way through class that day). Sadly, no pics, because all our hands were full with cake, breakfast, presents etc!

She threw a party later that week, and hence the pictures start...

Haha apparently people in Kazakhstan look Chinese =.=' Seriously I didn't know that! Well OK that was the first time I met anyone from Kazakhstan (what do you call their people? Kazakhstanis? ) but yeah I maintain that he looks like a Chinese, and a pretty good-looking one at that XD. Haha Saad is so gonna kill me now for saying that >.<
